Almaty, Kazakhstan – 14 October, 2008 – Kazakhstan Kagazy PLC (the “Group” or “Kagazy”) (LSE: KAG), one of Kazakhstan’s leading industrial groups, today announced that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has disbursed a EUR 33 million loan to Kagazy’s subsidiary, Kagazy Recycling LLP, as per the loan agreement signed by both parties in May 2007.
